Description
Syndra is a sinuous figure whose form seems to be made of living nightmares. Her skin shifts between deep purple and absolute black, with patterns that induce madness in mortal minds. Her hair writhes like tentacles of fear, and her eyes show visions of each viewer's worst fears.
Subtly sadistic, Syndra delights in psychological torment. Her voice whispers directly into minds, playing on deepest fears. She prefers to break spirits rather than bodies.
The Dark Dynasty
Syndra serves the Dark Dynasty through the subtle art of terror. While Gorath breaks bodies and Karax weaves betrayal, Syndra breaks minds. She softens resistance, sows paranoia, and drives the enemies of darkness to madness before they can be conquered.
Her relationship with the other members of the Dynasty is one of mutual usefulness - they provide her with victims, and she provides them with a broken, terrified populace ready to submit.
Divine Purpose
Syndra exists primarily in the realm of nightmares, reaching into mortal dreams to spread fear and madness. She creates pocket realms of horror for her most devoted followers, rewarding them with the power to spread terror.
Her worshippers include those who have embraced their own madness, torturers who prefer psychological methods, and those who feed on the fear of others. Her temples are places of whispered terror, where the boundary between nightmare and reality grows thin.
