Nerissa is a majestic figure with skin that shifts like deep ocean waters, ranging from teal to navy. Her hair moves like living waves, containing entire marine ecosystems. Her eyes reflect the depths of the sea, and her voice carries the power of ocean currents.

Protective and changeable, Nerissa can be calm as a tide pool or fierce as a storm. Her moods shift like the tides but always return to balance. She shows great care for all ocean life and those who respect the sea.

As mother of the Sea-Born Family, Nerissa rules alongside her husband Boreas over the realms of water and sky. Together they have three children: Anar the trickster of the depths, Civara the builder of sea-cities, and Lyrios the keeper of sea songs.

The Merfolk and Triton peoples revere the entire family, but Nerissa holds the central place in their worship as the life-giver of all who dwell beneath the waves.

Nerissa rules from a palace of living coral in the deepest ocean trenches. She maintains the balance of marine ecosystems and guides those who travel the waves. Her blessing is essential for safe sea voyages and bountiful fishing.
