Description

Malakai represents the ultimate force of corruption and entropy in the cosmos. As a Primordial Deity, he embodies the inevitable decay that exists as a counterforce to creation and order. His very presence corrupts and transforms, making him one of the most feared entities in the pantheon.

Unlike mere evil, Malakai represents a fundamental force of the universe - the tendency of all things to break down, corrupt, and return to chaos. His influence is subtle but pervasive, felt in the slow decay of civilizations and the corruption of noble ideals.

The Dark Dynasty

Through his children, Noctara and Vraxx, Malakai's influence extends into active forces of evil and destruction. Noctara inherited his capacity for corruption but applies it more directly through power and dominion, while Vraxx embodies the physical manifestation of decay through plagues and suffering.

The Dark Dynasty, led by his daughter Noctara and her husband Thyros, represents the organized force of his chaotic influence, turning his natural entropy into directed weapons against the forces of light and order.

Role in the Pantheon

As one of the Primordial Deities, Malakai's existence is necessary for the cosmic balance, though his influence is constantly opposed by forces of creation and order, particularly Soltharion and the Radiant Line. His relationship with other Primordials is complex - while Zyraxis sees him as a necessary part of the cycle, Mortis often conflicts with him over the nature of endings.

Malakai's worship is rare and often forbidden, though some secret cults exist that seek to harness his power of corruption. Most who deal with him do so through his children or their agents, as direct contact with his essence is dangerous even for divine beings.
