Description
Kalyth appears as an ageless figure with skin the color of burnished copper, covered in swirling tattoos that constantly shift and change, showing the flow of time itself. Her hair changes color with the passing of hours, from dawn-pink to noon-gold to twilight-purple to midnight-black. Her eyes are clock faces that turn with the passage of time.
Detached but not uncaring, Kalyth views all things through the lens of time's passage. She speaks with careful precision, each word measured like the ticking of a cosmic clock. She shows occasional flashes of dry humor about the cyclical nature of existence.
The Dark Seers
Through her children - Nyx, Kairos, and Lysara - Kalyth extends her temporal influence into the mortal realm. The Dark Seers serve the Desert Nomad peoples, guiding them through prophecy, fate, and dreams. Each child embodies a different aspect of their mother's domain over time and change.
Nyx reads the stories written in the stars, Kairos preserves the power of oral tradition and watches over fate, while Lysara inspires through dreams and visions. Together, they help mortals navigate the complexities of time's passage.
Divine Purpose
Kalyth moves through different time streams, observing and maintaining the flow of temporal energy. She dwells in a palace of infinite hourglasses, each containing a different timeline or possibility. Her purpose is to ensure that time flows as it should, neither rushing forward nor holding back.
As a Primordial Deity, Kalyth maintains neutrality in the cosmic conflicts, seeing all events as part of the greater flow of time. Her temples are places of meditation and foresight, where seers and prophets come to glimpse the possibilities that lie ahead.
