Description

Drakthar is a corpulent figure with skin the color of tarnished bronze, covered in jewels and precious metals that seem to sink into his flesh. His eyes are made of pure gold, and his hair is a tangled mass of precious metals and gems. His touch corrupts wealth with greed.

Avaricious and vengeful, Drakthar nurses every slight into a burning grudge. He speaks with a voice that rings like coins falling. He takes pleasure in destroying those who refuse to pay tribute.

The Dark Dynasty

As son of Noctara and Thyros, Drakthar inherited his mother's capacity for corruption and his father's ruthlessness, channeling them into an obsessive pursuit of wealth and revenge. He serves the Dark Dynasty by corrupting economies and punishing those who defy their power.

His brother Gorath represents the direct approach of conquest, while Drakthar works through more insidious means - corrupting the wealthy, destroying the prosperous, and ensuring that every debt to the Dark Dynasty is paid in full.

Divine Purpose

Drakthar dwells in a vault-temple filled with corrupted treasure, sending agents to gather wealth and spread the curse of greed. His influence turns honest merchants into cutthroat swindlers and makes men betray their kin for gold.

His worshippers include corrupt merchants, vengeful nobles, and all those consumed by avarice. They believe that wealth is power and that every slight must be repaid tenfold. His temples are hidden vaults where the greedy come to make dark bargains.
